I admired the organization of the entire adult ED from the patient display board to the actual trauma operation room. The categorizing of the patients and their different needs really ensures that the patient is getting the best help possible and the organization of the trauma team was quite beneficial in ensuring that the procedure is carried out thoroughly. In addition, with each trauma team member having a specific role, the idea of everyone being a part of a “football team” comes to life pretty lucidly.
The heart discussion was pretty interesting. I liked the radiology place too... it reminded me of my room. It was quiet, dark, and had a lot of tv/computer screens. I expected the Adult ED to be busier.
